It took eight rounds of shootout hockey, but TJ Oshie flipped in the winner -- his fourth goal in six shootout attempts -- as the USA defeated Russia 3-2 in an overtime shootout on Saturday morning.

It was a drive to the finish as Oshie and Russian and former NHL star Ilya Kovalchuk traded goals in the extra rounds, but it was Oshie who came up with the winner.



Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk acored two goals in regulation play.
