Team USA dominated right from the beginning enroute to a 5-2 win over the Czech Republic on Wednesday in the Olympics Mens Hockey quarterfinals in Sochi.

James vanRiensdyk got the Americans on the board just 1:30 into the game before the Czechs tied it up just 4:31 in.

At the 14:38 mark, USA took a 2-1 lead on a goal by Dustin Brown -- and never looked back.

Goals by David Backes, Zach Parise and Phil Kessel would follow before the Czechs would score their second goal midway through the 3rd.

USA will play Canada, who defeated Latvia, 2-1 in another quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday.
