The 10th-ranked Michigan Wolverines are back in action tonight with their (7-0) mark in Big Ten play as they will host the Purdue Boilermakers at the Crisler Center.  Pregame coverage begins at 8:30pm - Tip-off at 9pm over on Newsradio WOOD 1300 & 106.9 FM. 

A couple of upsets happened last night in the Big Ten...Penn St. went into Columbus and knocked off the #24 Buckeyes of Ohio St. - (71-70) in OT.  Also, the Northwestern Wildcats went into Madison last night and upset the #14 Badgers of Wisconsin - (65-56). 

The Detroit Pistons game that was scheduled for last night in Atlanta with the Hawks was postponed due to the severe weather in the Atlanta area.  League officials say the game will be rescheduled at a later date.  Detroit will return to action Saturday, when they host the Philadelphia 76ers at the Palace. 

Red Wings forward Johan Franzen has been placed back on injured reserve after concussion-like symptoms returned.  Franzen missed 16 games after suffering a concussion in mid-December.
