The 15th-ranked Michigan Wolverines overcame a ten-point deficit to beat #22 Ohio St. last night (70-60) in Columbus.  The win was the first on the road for U-M against the Buckeyes since January 2003.  Derrick Walton, Jr. scored 13 points, grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists for the Wolverines.  Michigan is now (18-6) overall - (10-2) in the Big Ten, and will host Wisconsin this Sunday at 1pm. 

There are six medal events today in Sochi including the men's 1,000 meters speed skating where American Shani Davis will try to become the first U.S. man to win the same event in three straight Winter Olympics.  Your current medal standings in Sochi:

1. Norway - 11 medals

2. Canada - 9 medals

3. Netherlands - 8 medals

4. USA - 7 medals (2 gold)

   Russia - 7 medals

 

The Detroit Pistons return to the court tonight as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Palace.  Tip-off is 7:30pm....the Pistons have won their last 3 games. 

In Mid-American Conference play tonight, Western Michigan (14-8, 7-3) will play host to the Akron Zips (16-7, 8-2).  Tip-off in Kalamazoo this evening is 7pm, and you can hear this game live right here on ESPN 96.1. 

Plus, don't forget that the A-H-L All-Star Game is tonight in St. John's, Newfoundland, featuring Griffins head coach - Jeff Blashill and rookie defenseman Alexey Marchenko, and you can watch this game live beginning at 6:30pm on Fox Sports Detroit.
