U-M and Michigan St. will continue to play in the NCAA Tournament in the Sweet Sixteen tonight as the Wolverines will face #11 seed Tennessee in Midwest Region action.  Pregame coverage begins at 6:40pm with tip-off at 7:15pm over on Newsradio WOOD 1300 and 106.9 FM.  MSU will take on #1 seed Virginia in East Regional action tonight with a 9:57 tip-off from Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera is looking to stay in Detroit for the rest of his career as he's expected to sign a long-term contract extension of 10-years worth a Major League Baseball record $292 million later today.  Speaking of Miguel Cabrera, he belted a 3-run homer to help lift the Tigers to a (9-3) Grapefruit League win over Atlanta yesterday.  Detroit hosts the Tampa Bay Rays this afternoon in Lakeland.  Game time is 1:05pm. 

The Red Wings came up short last night, losing to Montreal (5-4) at the Joe.  Tomas Tatar scored twice, while Riley Sheahan and Johan Franzen each had a goal.  Detroit travels to Toronto tomorrow to skate against the Maple Leafs.

The Pistons will honor the NBA two-time champion 'Bad Boys' tonight at the Palace as they get set to host LeBron James and the defending NBA champion Miami Heat tonight.  Tip-off is set for 7:30pm. 

And finally, Bob Daniels and the #2 seed Ferris St. hockey team will play in Midwest Regional action this afternoon in Cincinnati against #3 seed Colgate.  Faceoff time is 4:30pm.
