Tuukka Rask made 34 saves as the Boston Bruins beat the Red Wings yesterday (4-1) in Game Two of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.  East Grand Rapids' Luke Glendening scored the lone goal for the Wings.  The series shifts to Hockeytown for Game Three tomorrow night. 

Nick Castellanos singled in the winning run during the bottom of the sixth inning yesterday to help the Detroit Tigers to a (2-1) win over the Los Angeles Angels at Comerica Park.  Torii Hunter and former Angel Andrew Romine each had two hits for the Tigers, which took two of three in the series.  Rick Porcello allowed the one run in seven innings for his second win.  Joe Nathan locked up his third save.  The Tigers start a four-game set with the White Sox tonight.  First pitch is 7:08pm....Anibal Sanchez will get the start against John Danks for the Sox. 

In other Tigers news, shortstop Alex Gonzalez was given his unconditional release yesterday.  Danny Worth was recalled from Triple-A Toledo. 

The Detroit Lions are examining all options with their first pick in next month's NFL Draft.  The "Detroit Free Press" says the team is bringing in linebacker Khalil Mack for a visit this week.  Mack registered 100 tackles and 10 1/2 sacks last year with the University at Buffalo.  The Lions are picking 10th. overall and will likely need to move up for a chance at Mack. 

Finally, the West Michigan Whitecaps were off yesterday and will open up a 7-game homestand tonight - hosting Bowling Green with first pitch set for 6:35pm at 5\3rd. Ballpark.
