In college hoops, it was a rough day on Sunday for both Michigan and Michigan State as both teams lost at home. The number 15 Wolverines lost to number 21 Wisconsin, 75-62. The number 9 Spartans lost to Nebraska, 60-51. The two teams remain ties atop the Big Ten, and while the Spartans travel to Purdue on Thursday, the Wolverines are off until Sunday afternoon when they host the Spartans at Crisler Arena. You can hear that game on NewsRadio WOOD 1300 and 106.9fm; tipoff is at Noon.

The Detroit Tigers are set for the official beginning of Spring Training today. Among the ten position players that arrived early for workouts: Miguel Cabrera and new Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler. We have two videos for you, Tigers fans:

The Tigers play their first official Spring Training game next Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves. The Tigers open the regular season on March 31st against the Royals at Comerica Park.

As the US Men's Hockey team prepares for their quarterfinals matchup on Wednesday, here's a reminder that ESPN 96.1 will air the Men's Hockey gold medal game on on Sunday morning at 7. The Women's gold medal game will air on Thursday at Noon on ESPN 96.1; the women play Sweden in the semifinal game today.
