Big Rapids high school students and administration had heard rumors of threats connected to alleged sexual assaults, so the entire high school will be on lock-down Friday.

It also ois he last day of classes for Seniors.

Superintendent Tim Haist told WOOD TV that they have investigated and that he feels the threats "are not fact-based."

Nevertheless, he wants to take student safety seriously.

So every student's bag will be searched, each student will be 'wanded', and then doors will be locked until this afternoon.
