Most of the tree trouble from Wednesday's storms in Montcalm County involved getting around branches or boughs in the road.

A Gowen 16 year old had to stay put with her 15 year old brother after an Oak tree fell on their car around 7 a.m.  The Montcalm County Sheriff's Department said it was on Harlow Road, east of West County Line Road and a power line was tangled in the downed tree. The pair had been discovered by a MCSD Deputy assigned to Eureka Township.

The power lines were still energized, they were cleared from the car by Greenville DPS crews and Consumers Energy. The teens got out without injury.
