The appeal failed.

A Kent County judge has upheld a 10-day suspension of The B.O.B.’s liquor license.  Judge George S. Buth handed down the ruling Thursday afternoon in Kent County Circuit Court.

WOOD TV reports the B.O.B.’s attorneys cited already scheduled events at the establishment, including four weddings and a wedding rehearsal dinner, which would be affected by the suspension.

“The planners for all of these events have arranged for liquor to be served and those arrangements would have to be canceled due to the liquor license suspension ordered by the commission,” the attorneys wrote. “Due to the size of these events, it is very unlikely that any of them could find an alternative venue on such short notice.”
