The amount lobbyists spent to wine and dine legislators last year was down, compared to the previous year.

Lobbyists in Michigan spent about 35 million dollars during 2013, according to reports filed with the Michigan Department of State and compiled by the Michigan Campaign Finance Network.

That's about 4.6 percent below what was reported in 2012 and nearly identical to the amount reported in 2011.

The biggest spenders were multi-client lobbying firms, according to the MCFN.
