Grand Rapids police think Zach Harris, a 50-something year old man, was just an innocent bystander who walked out of a grocery store near Boston Square in the afternoon and into a gun-battle, possibly between rival gangs.

Witnesses reportedly counted as many as 17 gunshots and one of the bullets hit Harris in the face.

WOOD TV says that he was home later that day, after being treated at the hospital.
