The northbound lanes of US-31 saw some recent help between Grand Haven and Holland, it's time for a fix on the other side.
MDOT spokesman John Richard told WOOD Radio the project is set up so that commuters and weekend travelers get through without issues. "We're trying to limit the impact to motorists as much as we possibly can. There will be a two to three day period where there will be complete lane closures, allowing for concrete curing time." Richard said that work will be complete by the Memorial Day weekend and the project will be finished by mid-June.
All lanes will be open 6 a.m. Sunday to 9 a.m. Monday, and on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
