BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A week after the rave called “Project P” that drew thousands to a Mecosta County farm, family members of two organizers facing felonies are warning others about throwing future raves.
Alex Johnson, the brother of  Brittany Johnson, one of the young people charged in connection with throwing the rave, remembers the party fondly, but says his sister has been unfairly charged.
“It was nuts, it was completely absolutely crazy. Best party I’ve been to,” Alex Johnson said.
Alex Johnson told 24 Hour News 8 his sister didn’t deserve to be arrested in the first place, saying she was only responsible for social media.
“No, it’s not Brittany’s fault. It doesn’t matter who hosts it or who is trying to get a lot of people in there, it’s just whoever’s house it is and who is actually running the party,” Alex Johnson said. “That should be the people who should actually be charged for it.”
