Organizers called it a "massive turnout" in which they counted as many as 200 people showing up to complain about the federal government's immigration policy in downtown Kalamazoo.

The group calls itself Michigan United and wants President Obama to stop deporting illegal immigrant chiildren, while waiting on the US House lawmakers to vote on an immigration bill.

The Kalamazoo immigration reform rally was part of Michigan’s statewide contribution to a national day of action with events in dozens of cities across the nation including Detroit, Grand Rapids and Lansing.
