Kent County investigators got help from neighbor agencies and say they hope to bring in four men for a series of thefts early this month.

18 cases have been solved as tips point to 21 year old Michael Parris and three others, a 22 year old, a 17 year old suspect and a juvenile. The items were taken from homes and businesses in Kent, Newaygo and Montcalm Counties. Kent County Undersheriff Jon Hess told WOOD TV "they were stealing a lot of things related to cars, parts, gasoline, some older cars, a motorcycle." Some of the items had been sold as far away as Cadillac after being taken in the week of May 5th.

Hess said tips and cooperation from regional agencies helped solve a number of crimes. "The people who had their things stolen are very happy to have their things back."
