A group of neighbors in Holland Township is planning legal action  to prevent a proposed truck stop from being built.

They call themselves One By One and claim to be most of the way toward raising $35,000 in legal fees to fight the planned Love's Truck Stop that is scheduled to be built at the I-196 interchange at Adams Street.

Even though the Planning Commission says the land had been zoned for that kind of use, people in the area say they feel this thing is being rammed down their throats.

One By One says, on its website, "This group was created in order to give a voice to the citizens in order to maintain the value and integrity of our community."
