State officials say job seekers looking to participate in the state’s largest-ever job matchmaking summit face a fast-approaching deadline to apply online for the 1,200 jobs at Pure Michigan DREAMJOB being held in June at Ford Field in Detroit.

More than 110 of the state’s leading businesses including Ford, Quicken Loans, Whirlpool, and Bosch will interview qualified job candidates using an innovative matchmaking format for available job openings.

Positions are available in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to: engineering, design, project management, supply chain management, finance, operations, sales, marketing and software development. April 30 is the last day to apply online to participate.

Jobs will be posted online and candidates will be able to view and apply for one or more positions.

More than 1,000 people have set up profiles on the website with 670 filing applications for at least one position with two weeks remaining before the application deadline.
