The Greenbriar Apartments in Holland have a problem with bedbugs in nearly a dozen units in the low income subsidized apartment complex.

The Holland Sentinel reports that some tenants had their apartments treated as long ago as last June, and some will need to have new couches, chairs and beds.

Because the rent is subsidized by the federal government, the landlord will help with the replacements.

But the newspaper reports that some tenants have been threatened with eviction. The company that owns the complex reportedly denies it.
