Spectrum Health said it's opening a new integrated heatlhcare facility to provide medical services to area residents in a comprehensive way.
On Monday, Spectrum dedicated its campus at 2750 East Beltline. The three-story, 120,000 square foot building houses several Spectrum services under one roof.
Services at the new campus range from family medicine to radiology. Seth Wolk, president at Spectrum Health Medical Group said the facility at the corner of East Beltline and 3 Mile Rd. uses a "team approach" based on a similar model used at its Holland campus.
The new facility is about a 15-minute drive from the Spectrum's Urgent Care facility at 3350 Broadmoor Ave., which closed temporarily last week.Spectrum said it was considering the future use of the Kentwood facility.
The new integrated campus opens to the public Friday.
