More than 200 movies will be shown at the 10th annual Traverse City Film Festival this summer, from timeless classics to little-known independents that founder Michael Moore describes as ``hidden gems.''
The festival released its lineup this week. The event runs from July 29 through Aug. 3.
Among free films to be shown on a giant outdoor screen are "Jaws,'' "Casablanca,'' "Star Wars'' and "The Wizard of Oz.'' Opening-night attractions include Woody Allen's "Magic in the Moonlight'' and the Irish film "Calvary.''
This year's event will feature showings at a new theater called "The Buzz'' and evening films aboard a boat cruising Grand Traverse Bay.
Another new twist is a showing of films in six other northern Michigan towns the week before the Traverse City festival begins.
