The Saturday shooting in Muskegon hurt no one, but Muskegon Police ended up arresting a teenager and his mother.

The shooting happened just before midnight Saturday on Hoyt just south of Laketon Avenue.

Police say several shots were fired and witnesses say there were "at least two distinctly different sounding guns".

There had been a teen party inside one house, and the cops found evidence of illegal drug use.

The 17-year old son of the homeowner was arrested and so was his 38-year old mother, who was there, as well.
