Doctors could be harvesting organs from a killer's cadaver today. Seven donated organs from Erick Knysz will help people continue their lives.
Knysz, who murdered the Michigan State Police Trooper a year ago, is being kept alive by machines, even though he is brain-dead after committing suicide earlier this week in his Jackson prison cell.
His sister Bonnie told WOOD TV this, in no way, makes up for her brother having taken Trooper Paul Butterfield's life.
But she says that knowing Eric's organs will help seven people is a silver lining to a terrible situation.
