A Veterans Jobs Fair in Muskegon this Friday has more employers, and an organizer believes this year there's more promise for those who served in the military or simply need a job.

Companies taking part in the third annual event on the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum include Alcoa Howmet, Meijer and Amway.

Holly Hughes, who founded the event told WOOD Radio "Amway is going through an expansion and has many positions to fill."

There are engineering positions, a CPA is sought, corrections officer opportunities along with office and factory jobs.

90 employers will be looking for prospects, whether they're veterans or civilians from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The LSST 393 Veterans Museum is in the 500 block of Mart Street in Muskegon.

"Come prepared with your resume in hand and dressed for success," Hughes suggests.
