For me, it was a 1971 Chevy Vega station wagon. Paid $800 dollars for it and never got around to installing that Craig Powerplay aftermarket radio I had my eye on all summer.

That was my "going off to college" car. It was and I did. From Westland, Mi to Sault Ste. Marie at least once a month, back and forth. Had a girlfriend in northern Ontario. Drove to see her at least once a month.

I put a lot of miles on that car. Me and that old AM radio. Lots of stations at night. Not many in the day.
