How 2 Face a FEAR

Unless you are one of the members of the Shield or a comic book Super Hero, it is probably safe to say…you have something or maybe someone you are afraid of.

Being afraid is a normal part of life. Fear is not necessarily a bad thing. Think of it….being afraid of fire it not a bad thing, however it is if you are a firefighter or are too afraid to cook using a stove! You need to have a certain degree of fear, which I will call respect for the flames, as they can really do damage if utilized incorrectly or left unmonitored. The real reason so many of us act or react out of fear is because we do not understand or lack education about a subject, topic or person. Fear is actually a root to many of our problems and issues when it comes to networking and connecting to others. What will they think of me? Will they like me? Will I fail? Will I look like a fool? What if it tastes bad? Am I smart enough? What if no one wants to help me? Can I do without it? Can I live without him or her? How can you overcome fear?

1) It is alright to admit you are afraid. Figure out what you are really afraid of.

2) Find out as much as you can about your fear. This may help you explain why you are afraid. What it really is; how it operates. If it is a person or group of people, find out more about them.

3) Ask someone you trust someone that is patient and strong to partner and help you go through this period of your life; as you rediscover your strengths!

4) Do NOT be hard on yourself, take your time and go at your own pace…as long as you are GOING… you WILL arrive some day!
