Meetings Held As Partial Government Shutdown Enters 3rd Week

Pense

Fifteen days into the partial  government shutdown efforts continue to try to end the stalemate.  Vice President Mike Pence and other top administration officials met with a  congressional delegation for about an hour and a half today in a new bid  to resolve differences with Democrats.  The meeting ended with no word of any progress.  The President is demanding more than five-billion dollars for a border wall and has threatened to allow the shutdown to go on for months.
