Construction crews have begun installing the pedestrian bridge that will connect a new pediatric rehab hospital to the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Wealthy Street is partially closed near Jefferson Avenue while the work is being completed over the next few weeks. The Joan Secchia Children's Rehabilitation Hospital will be the first rehab facility for kids in the state.
The 70-million-dollar hospital will include an inpatient and outpatient gym and a family resource center.
