KENT COUNTY, Mich. -- A Kent County man, Thomas Webber, was arraigned on Tuesday (November 25) on charges related to the death of his neighbor's dog. The 68-year-old faces one count of animal killing and torture after allegedly shooting the dog with a crossbow in October.

Webber admitted to authorities that he shot the dog because he was frustrated with it wandering onto his property. The incident has raised concerns about animal cruelty and the legal consequences of such actions. If convicted, Webber could face jail time.

The case highlights ongoing issues with neighborhood disputes and animal rights. As the legal process unfolds, the community is watching closely to see how the court addresses this matter. The arraignment marks the beginning of what could be a lengthy legal battle for Webber.
