The Muskegon YMCA will use a $146,000 from the Michigan Department of Education to advance its summer programs.
The money will be put toward Camp Pendalouan to help with staffing and equipment.
Muskegon YMCA CEO Gabriella Gerlach says the funding will mean they can serve more kids and expand the programs that provide enrichment.
