Muskegon Heights Police say suspect in fatal shooting turns self in

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. -- Muskegon Heights Police say the suspect in the fatal shooting of a man outside the Hideout Bar on May 10th turned himself in Wednesday.

Police say Javontae Jordan Jones showed up at the Muskegon County Court Building accompanied by his attorney. Angelo Keon Raglin-Davis of Muskegon was shot around 1 o'clock in the morning outside the bar at 100 E. Broadway Ave., and later died at a hospital. Police began investigating the incident as a homicide. A felony warrant was issued the next day for the 26-year-old Jones.

Officers and Emergency Medical Staff arrived on scene and performed life saving measures. The victim passed away in route to Trinity Hospital. The Deceased male is identified as Angelo Keon Raglin-Davis, of Muskegon. The City of Muskegon Heights Detectives with the assistance of Muskegon County Violent Crimes Task Force are investigating this as homicide. The City of Muskegon Heights Police Department is asking if anyone witnessed this homicide to contact the City of Muskegon Heights Police Department or Muskegon County Silent Observer.
