A boil water advisory is now in place for Cedar Springs.
The advisory is precautionary due to a loss of water pressure in the water distribution system after an alarm malfunction on Tuesday.
Everyone who uses the Cedar Springs water system should boil their water for two minutes before consuming it.
Experts expect to be able to lift the advisory on Thursday as long as testing comes back normal.
