A driver accused of hitting and killing a tow truck operator last year is pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge.
Payton Ferris entered the plea on Wednesday.
The crash happened on November 4, 2023 on eastbound M-6 near Kraft Avenue.
Police say tow truck operator Keagan Spencer was outside his vehicle when a driver lost control of his vehicle, went into the median and hit Spencer.
