A new bookstore is opening on Grand Rapids' west side.
Cellar Bird Books celebrated its grand opening this week.
Owner Lea Kocurek says it was always a dream to open an independent bookstore.
Kocurek says three years ago her and her husband were ready for a change so they decided to move to Michigan, wrap up her job and follow that dream.
