A clear sky Tuesday night allowed people in West Michigan to catch a glimpse of space debris as it burned across the night sky.
Several residents were able to capture footage of the burning streaks lighting up the sky. According to space tracker Jonathan McDowell, the burning debris was a Starlink satellite as it collided with intense temperatures when rapidly re-entering Earth's atmosphere.
