West Michigan City Nature Challenge set for Friday

WEST MICHIGAN -- A global bio-blitz beginning Friday will see participants document nature and contribute to scientific research.

It runs through April 28.

The event was created by iNaturalist

Locally, Ottawa County Parks is partnering with John Ball Zoo and other organizations in the 10th annual West Michigan City Nature Challenge. They're trying to identify as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time.
