UPDATE: We're now being told the person who was airlifted, a 65-year-old Coopersville woman, has died. Sheriff's deputies say she was sitting the back seat of a sedan that was involved in the crash.
ALPINE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Someone had to be flown to a hospital after four people were hurt in a crash near Six Mile Road and Bristol Avenue in Alpine Township, the Kent County Sheriff's Office said.
A pair of vehicles collided near that intersection yesterday before 4 p.m.
The crash prompted a brief closure.
An investigation is ongoing.
