MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - The top executive at Adelaide Pointe marina in Muskegon has stepped down.
The move was made after Ryan Leestma sent a letter to the Trump Administration.
Leestma addressed the letter to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, where he asked the agency and President Trump to get involved after the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy said the facility failed to maintain sedimentation barriers.
EGLE also said the development violated conditions of its permit by discharging sediment into Muskegon Lake.
