ALGOMA TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Kent County Sheriff's deputies say a 61-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash in Algoma Township early yesterday.
Investigators say he struck a tree after his vehicle left 17 Mile Road.
He was responsive after first responders arrived at the scene, but died after being taken to the hospital. The man was said to be pinned inside his vehicle.
It's not clear what prompted the crash.
