MSP: Trooper not injured after being dragged by car during traffic stop

A Michigan State Police trooper was dragged 60 feet after pulling someone over in Grand Rapids on Tuesday.

Officials say the trooper was not injured.

The incident happened on the off-ramp from southbound US-131 to Turner Avenue in Walker around 1:30 p.m.

The trooper pulled a car over on the ramp and approached the vehicle to talk to the driver. The driver then attempted to take off, dragging the officer.
