CASCADE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - The Right Place says Buell Motorcycles is working on an $18.5 million expansion in Cascade Township.
The project is getting grants from the Michigan Business Development Program and Michigan Works.
"We are grateful to The Right Place and MEDC and all they do to help growing businesses like ours create jobs," Buell Motorcycle CEO Bill Melvin said in a press release.
The Buell brand was discontinued in 2009 after being acquired by Harley Davidson in the 1990s.
The brand was restarted in 2016 and was eventually spun off into its own company in 2021.
