Calvin University is breaking ground on a football field.
The university says the football and lacrosse field will be a major milestone in continuing to develop their programs and enhancing the overall student experience.
The project will be complete in phases and will include a full stadium.
Phase one is underway now. It includes a turf field for practice, LED lighting, backstop netting and scoreboard and play clocks.
