KCAS to host Grand Reopening of Fuller Avenue location

After 12 weeks of renovations, the Kent County Animal Shelter will be officially returning to their Fuller Avenue location.

A Grand Reopening scheduled for Monday, June 2 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. They'd been operating from a temporary location since January so that extensive renovations, such as new flooring and space enhancements, could take place at their original location.

During the Grand Reopening, guests are welcome to visit and take part in a tour of the facility, meet the shelter's staff and volunteers and get to know some of the animals currently available for adoption. You can also learn about how to volunteer as well as the many programs who work in collaboration with the shelter such as Pleasant Hearts Pet Food Pantry.
