To celebrate National Donut Day, Sprinkles Donut shops in Grand Rapids is teaming up with the Salvation Army and Spartan Nash to deliver donuts to first responders and veterans across West Michigan.
In addition, all 8 Sprinkles Donut shops will be donating a portion of every donut sold on Friday to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army not only established National Donut Day back in 1917, but they also offer vital services to those in need, including but not limited to food pantries, housing and utility assistance, as well as rehabilitation centers to help individuals with substance abuse.
