Here are full details from a Lowell Area Chamber news release:
The festivities kick off Thursday, July 10, at 5 PM with food trucks and concession vendors on Avery Street and the downtown Social District for adult beverages. At 7 PM on the Riverwalk Stage, “Kanin Wren’s Taylor Swift Experience” will recreate Taylor’s musical journey through her various eras.
On Friday, July 11, beginning at 5 PM, enjoy street entertainers as you stroll and shop the Riverwalk Marketplace featuring artists, makers, and boutiques showcasing their wares, along with non-profit and commercial vendor booths. At 7 PM, the Lowell Showboat will provide a picturesque backdrop for “Great Scott”, as the dynamic 6-piece ensemble brings you music from the 70’s to today’s current chart-toppers.
On Saturday, July 12, take in events throughout Lowell all day long. The day starts at 8 AM with the Run the Riverwalk 5K Run/Walk and the Riverwalk Cruise-In Car Show. At 9 AM, watch and listen as car show participants rev it up and test their horsepower on the “Dyno Machine” provided by Weller Companies. Also at the car show, check out the Frontier Truck Parts Bush Hog Monster Truck. Bring your water vessel and enter the Bill & Paul’s Sporthaus Kayak/SUP/Canoe race at 10 AM. The car show takes to Main Street with a car parade at 1:45 PM. Enjoy sweet summer fun at the Kidz Zone, a kids scavenger hunt, kayak fun on the Flat River, the Riverwalk Marketplace, and food vendors throughout the day until 4 PM.
The laughs continue Saturday evening with a new festival event, as the Lowell Showboat “Boat Bash” offers two comedy shows. The early 5 PM show features Brian Atkinson, and the 8 PM late show features headliner Louis Michael! Tickets are required and seating is limited.
Also new for Saturday evening, join us for free kids’ games at Lowell’s Recreation Park (S Hudson St) from 7:30–9:30 PM. Activities include inflatable axe throwing, laser tag, throw bowling, archery range, and a kids’ foam party.
Recreation Park is a great viewing location for the festival weekend’s grand finale, the Lowell Meijer Fireworks at 10:15 PM. There’s additional firework viewing from Stoney Lakeside Park (Bowes Rd).
During the festival, be sure to participate in the Montell Construction Duck Raffle. A favorite since the festival’s inception, Duck Raffle Tickets are $2 each, 3/$5 or 10/$10, with a chance to win $1500 in cash prizes. Winners will be drawn on Saturday at 4 PM from the Riverwalk Stage.
