GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom says several teenagers were arrested after a fight between two groups Saturday night.
It happened after the city's fireworks show near the Louis Campau Parking Ramp off Monroe Avenue.
Guns were pulled, but no shots were fired and no one was hurt, Winstrom said.
There was panic downtown, however.
"I turned my head to the right, and there was just this wall of people running towards us it was like something out of a movie. It was literally the scariest thing I have ever seen," Symantha Bordeau told WOOD-TV. "You started hearing people yelling run, instincts kick in, you grab your kid and you start running."
