Cedar Springs doctor facing charges for alleged illegal prescriptions

A Cedar Springs doctor is facing charges after allegedly illegally prescribing 2 million pills through a company that claimed to be an online telehealth service.

Dr. Jonathan Decker is facing charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and 10 counts of distributing controlled substances.

Officials say between February 2021 and November 2023, Decker was paid over a million dollars to write prescriptions for two million Adderall pills.

Decker was contracting with Done Inc., a digital health company, where people could pay a subscription fee for online diagnosis, treatment and medication refills for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The indictment alleges that Decker knowingly conspired with the platform to distribute the medication for not-legitimate purposes.
