The Turnstiles Bar in Grand Rapids near West Side has posted a farewell letter to its customers this afternoon. It says Turnstiles will be closing its doors on Stocking Avenue on July 26 after years of "Shared drinks, live music and countless memories." The bar cited rising costs, a changing market and a recent deal to sell the property that fell through. Turnstiles is located near Second Street, south of the Gerald R. Ford Freeway.
