ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says a 43-year-old Blendon Township man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night.
It happened around 7:30 in Zeeland Township.
Sheriff's deputies said in a news release he was driving a Consumers Energy F-550 truck on 88th Avenue, which collided with a car near Ransom Street. The Toyota Carolla was driven by a 64-year-old woman from Park Township.
Police said the man in the truck was ejected and later declared dead at the scene. The woman in the car was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
Besides the Sheriff's Office, AMR Ambulance and Zeeland Township Fire-Rescue also responded to the scene.
