HASTINGS, Mich. -- Trumble Insurance Agency is holding their second annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 2 in Hastings.
The insurance agency is partnering with Auto-Owners Insurance to host the event at the Hastings Amphitheater from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At the event, 1,300 backpacks filled with school supplies will be given to Barry County community children. Trumble is also partnering with Treadstone Funding to five away $100 Amazon gift cards to the first 100 teachers at the event.
The event will also include a Razor scooter giveaway, food, live entertainment from a DJ, inflatables, balloon animals, face painting and activities for the whole family. A new addition to the event will be the Sensory Mindful Zone. The zone will include all of the fun activities in a quieter atmosphere with extra space for the community's neurodiverse families.
The theme of the event is "I AM THE FUTURE". Trumble says Barry County kids need to know they are our future. The agency says each kids need to know that are valuable and significant and who they are in valuable to the world and specifically, this community.
